New Studio + Gallery!
We have moved! We didn't go far - we have re-located to the space right next door (in the same beautiful building) which simply offered more room to grow. When it became available early this year, we realised it was perfect timing and the right moment to grow in a way that has been in the making for a long time. With more space, a long-time dream for Avenue Design Studio has been made a possibility - the opening of a gallery.
As a bespoke interior design studio, sourcing is an integral part of what we do and how we pull together our homes. For years, the idea to grow the studio by introducing a gallery space made so much sense since we are always sourcing unique pieces for our projects and collaborating with artists behind the scenes. Bringing all of this together in one inspiring space has been a long time ambition.
In our light-filled gallery that features historical architecture in a quintessential European residential style, both vintage and contemporary design accompany furniture and objects designed within the studio.
The new studio is made up of two spaces divided by ensuite doors original to the building, with French doors lead out to a jasmine lined courtyard. In fact, you can see through to the old studio space beyond the doors and sash windows.
The building is a renovated monument status canal house that has been turned into residential-style work spaces. The new space boasts original oak parquet flooring, soaring ceilings and sash windows on the front of the space that look out onto the canal and former museum-turned-hotel. The natural light that floods into the front room (the gallery) makes it the perfect backdrop for a curated collection of art, objects, furniture and design.
The rear space with adjoining patio is our design studio and is used for presentations, meetings and consultations. We hope you love the space as much as we do - now for the tour!
The gallery has its own Instagram profile which will regularly feature new and available items.
For enquiries into anything you have seen in the studio, on Instagram or in the gallery, please be in touch.
