Our bespoke interior design approach is personal and intuitive; every detail of the design scheme is tailored to your needs and that of your project. After an introductory conversation, we draft a detailed proposal aligned with your project scope. Our bespoke design process unfolds in two key phases:
I DESIGN CONCEPT AND DEVELOPMENT - We start by creating visual concepts for your space, including layouts to help visualise the overall look, feel and flow. We work closely with you to refine these concepts based on your feedback, before moving on to develop the design further, incorporating specific materials, details and fixtures.
|| MATERIAL SELECTION AND IMPLEMENTATION - We source physical samples of materials, finishes, and textiles for approval before finalising selections. Once the core elements are confirmed, we coordinate with our trusted network of suppliers and contractors, providing clear technical specifications for seamless execution. Our sourcing extends beyond standard catalogues to ensure a curated, well-researched, and thoughtfully designed space. Every detail, from custom finishes to one-of-a-kind furnishings, is carefully considered to create a cohesive and refined result that aligns with collaborative conversations with you.

I N T E R I O R D E S I G N C O N S U L T I N G
During an intensive design consultation, we work with you to explore your space, refine layouts, select materials, and guide you toward tailored design solutions. From our studio, you’ll have access to a curated range of samples, including wood, stone, tile, and textiles. After the session, you'll receive an itemised summary of design decisions to implement at your own pace.

Depending on your specific needs, you will receive some or all of the following:
Digital mood board: Visual inspiration, core design concepts
Layout: A digital 2D floor plan with furniture positioning
Colour and material scheme: Including wallpaper, tile, paint, surface finishes and textiles
Expert advice: On furniture, fixtures, storage solutions, and supplier recommendations
Lighting and electrical plan: Placement of fixtures and installations
Custom cabinetry design: Concept drawings for bespoke furniture

Our design consultations run from 10:00 - 17:00 for in-person appointments at our studio, with an additional day allocated for preparing deliverables. The fee for the consultation is €2,450 ex VAT.
During your session, you will be personally guided by our Founder and Creative Director, Holly Marder, along with one of the skilled interior architects from the Avenue Design Studio team. Closing documentation will be sent by email, within one week of your consultation.
C O L O U R & M A T E R I A L C O N S U L T I N G
During a half day consultation at our studio, we will create a bespoke colour and materials scheme that is unique to you and your project.

Our methodology derives from an initial study of the property’s architecture and the flow between each space. We piece together a palette that feels distinctly layered and balanced. During this interactive session, we’ll propose surface treatments, including paint colours, materials, finishes, and wallpapers from trusted brands, as well as textiles and window treatment advice. We’ll create a cohesive plan tailored to your space, that can be implemented at your own pace.

Consultations typically run from 10:00 - 14:00 at our studio, with a fee of €650 ex VAT. All proposed materials can be supplied by Avenue Design Studio, and we can assist with implementation upon request.
