Studio Collections
There’s no doubt that art and accessories play a large role in our work as an interior design studio. Layering our spaces with carefully selected pieces to create homes that tell a story is something we believe to be one of our greatest strengths and also where we find joy and meaning.
We are often asked how and where we find the pieces we use in our projects, so we thought it would be fun to give you some insight into our sourcing process and at the same time, give you a peek into the studio as it is right now.
We source our art and accessories sporadically, and from all over the place - from antique stores to art galleries, from wandering the markets to hand selecting pieces from local makers in their ateliers. We also commission artists to create one-off pieces for our projects. We tend to source as and when we need new pieces, with a specific project in mind, but sometimes stumble across gems that we can’t resist.
We display found objects throughout the studio, dotting them amongst our stone, wood, tile and textile samples and across available surfaces, giving us a chance to enjoy them before they find new homes. We have our art framed and hang pieces in the studio before they make their way into our projects.
Will our studio collection be available for purchase to those other than our clients, I hear you ask?
We are discussing this topic more and more, and while we can’t see a shop or webshop making its way into our future, a gallery might - a space where people can visit the studio by appointment to view and purchase from our collection. In the meantime, if you have questions about anything you have spotted in these images, please drop us a line.
Hope you enjoyed this little tour,
