Studio Scenes | Seasonal Moodboard

Here in the studio we rely on mood boarding to keep our work and aesthetic fresh, current and consistent. We have a giant moodboard that we use to visually express our ideas, changing things up each season to reflect the current zeitgeist and where we’re at stylistically. It’s become a favourite element of the studio for all of us, a conversation starter with our clients and makes for a bit of fun each time we change things up! Here’s what our team came up with for fall/winter ‘18.

For the last few months we’ve been feeling rusty red tones, earthy browns and fresh whites. This moodboard draws a beautiful balance between a frosty cool hues and warm, rich tones and textures. If you look closely, you can spot the very first sketches of the dining room cabinetry we designed for our Miami interior design project, as well as the first concept boards from our Kralingen project.
